I made this because I couldn’t find a small shelf that actually worked. I didn’t want something bulky or over-designed—just a clean, quiet place to drop my keys and sunglasses without cluttering the wall. The lip keeps things in place, and the narrow depth means it doesn’t get in the way. It’s one of those pieces I barely notice now—but I use it every single day.

- By the door. A designated spot for keys, sunglasses, and your everyday out-the-door essentials.
- Mail landing zone. Keep incoming or outgoing mail corralled instead of scattered on counters.
- In the hallway. A quiet little catchall that adds function without bulk.
- Mounted low. Works at kid height too—for little backpacks or lunchboxes.
